Steps for Setup Einstein Activity Capture for Outlook

 

First go to the permission set and select Standard Einstein Activity Capture.Then click on manage assignment and assign a user.

    After that search for Einstein Activity Capture in the quick find box.
        Under Einstein Activity Capture, click on Settings.
        After clicking, Einstein Activity Capture setup page will appear.
        Click on start and then accept the T&C.

Select the Microsoft Office 365 and click on next

Choose the Authentication Method and click next.

Name your Configuration and click next.

Configure the Sync Settings and click next.

Configure  the advanced setting where you can put the filter condition and click next.

Add user and profile and click next (Only those users will be available here which are assigned in the permission set i.e. mentioned above). It is always recommended to add User instead of Profile.

If you want to Exclude any email address or domain then you can mention here and then click next.

Set default Activity Sharing and click next and then click finish.

The final Einstein Activity Capture Config will appear.

Now click on the user and select the settings.

In the Quick Find box, search for Einstein Activity Capture, and under Einstein Activity Capture select Sharing Settings.(If you have already connected an Account and want to connect more accounts then search 'Connected Accounts')

Now click on Connect Account and select My Office 365 and login with your Outlook credentials.

Now go to your outlook account which you have connected with your Salesforce org and click on the icon shown in picture to add Salesforce add-in.

Search for Salesforce add-in and add that add-in to your Outlook. (Note: Add the Add-in which is provided by Salesforce only)

Now create a new email and click on the 3 dots (...) and click on Salesforce add-in.

Now in final step you will get a window which will ask you for Salesforce login. So login with your Salesforce org credential on which you have configured the Einstein Activity Capture. After login you will get the Salesforce window in your Outlook as shown in the screenshot.

Here Integration is completed and you can track the activities of your outlook account under the Activity section on the record page of Salesforce Org.





Note :-  
If you don’t have the paid subscription of Microsoft 365 then you have to add the outlook live domain to the Outlook Integration & Sync setting in Salesforce Org.
For this, go to your Salesforce Setup and in quick find box, search for Outlook    Integration & Sync and under “Let user access Salesforce records from Outlook” go to the Microsoft® Outlook® Web App Domain and click on new and add the domain.
